Here is a brief reminder of the four stages of consciousness evolution (Lecture 127)

♦ Automatism: This is the initial stage of consciousness, when one simply reacts to situations by means of blind reflexes.

♦ Awareness: The path to the evolution of consciousness requires that you then become aware of these blind reflexes and that they comprise your main way of reacting to situations in one or more areas of your life.

♦ Understanding: As a next step, you need to understand cause and effect related to these blind reflexes. Why do they exist and what do they cause?

♦ Knowing: Finally, you must know the truth; the right conclusions that lie behind the wrong ones, behind the misconceptions.

When the personal path is taken in this way, leading you deep inside the inner layers of consciousness, then the personal universe reveals the principles and spiritual laws of creation, of the universe as a whole.

Knowing the truth in the way of personal experience has a healing effect on you and your entire environment. When you finally know the truth, you have the key to the entire universe. If you know one truth in this way, you know all truth.
