Exercise 12: Connections between outer life and inner state

<- To Work Program

Consider the following questions for reflection, and make notes for your future reference:

♦ Do you notice a difference in your level of accomplishment and personal satisfaction among different areas of your life? (e.g.: your profession; your family life; your social relations; etc.)

♦ In which areas of your life do you consider yourself to be more successful?

♦ In those areas that you feel as more troubled and less successful, do you feel that you have been overlooking some of your personal values?

♦ Could you be feeling that acting strictly in accordance with your values might be a selfish attitude that could hinder the achievement of your goals in a particular area?

♦ Could it be that compromising your personal values and principles creates internal conflict and this is what in fact hinders the achievement of your goals in some areas of your life?

♦ How satisfied (or dissatisfied) are you with respect to your perceived state of spiritual development? (With respect to the amount of negativity that you feel you have already overcome and what still remains to be transformed).
